Vintage Photo Frame Table Numbers: DIY

2/7/11

Currently, I have collected 20 picture frames and placed the background image for each one that I have.  The picture frames have come from Michaels, Thrift Shops, Big Lots, Ross, and some recycled ones from home.  I've tried to keep each frame $5 and under.  I know there are some great frames that are $6...but I just can't get myself to spend a dollar more!  It adds up quickly!

Here’s my attempt to do the vintage picture frame table numbers!

A couple of my picture frames...

Option 1: Wooden Number
For the number, I got the wooden ones from Michael’s.  I then used a bronze colored paint spray to color the number.  After that I just taped the number on.  I decided to put the picture frame sideways because it’s too tall the other way.  It would be a shame to block the centerpieces.

Option 2: Card stock Glitter Numbers

I found this scrapbook glitter card stock at Michael’s.  I thought it would be perfect and much easier to do.  Also, definitely more cost efficient then getting the wooden numbers.  It actually turned out really nice!

You might be wondering why 17?  When I was trying to draw out the number 1, it ended up looking more like a 7.  Then I just decided to do a 1 for fun.

Comment Question:

The wooden numbers or glitter card stock?
