Yay! I finished taking all the pictures and all my chalkboard picture frames are finished! I decided that this would be more for favors. I did three different samples in order to play around with that. Overall, I think the smaller ones were my favorite. What do you think?
I just love this picture of my mom's brothers and sisters WAY back in the day. This picture frame was 5"X6". Only drawback to this one is that there's not backing. I ended up taping the picture to the back of it.
This one was pretty big. It also has dowels so you can post it up as well. This picture frame was 6.5'X8.5".
This one was my favorite one. It had a backing to it so you don't have to tape the picture to the back. It also has a wooden dowel so you can place it up right. Plus it's a perfect size for favors. This one measures to 4.5"X4.5"
Directions on How to Make Chalkboard Magnet Frames:
Chalkboard Krylon Spray Paint: $5.00
Any wooden picture frames. The dolphin design didn't even come out. So you can even have a design and the spray paint should cover it after 2 layers.
Strip of magnets.
1. Spray the frames. I did 3 layers. After I sprayed each layer, I waited about 5 minutes in between to let it dry a little bit. Use news paper to cover underneath the frames. Then let it dry overnight.
2. Cut about 1" of the magnet tape, peel, and stick.
3. Put your picture in it, hang it, frame, and draw a pretty picture on it!
Options: You can either post it up like a normal picture frame or put it on your refrigerator!
