Vintage Frames for Dessert Platters

7/26/11

I don't know why I was thinking about this during my Spin class...maybe I was trying to take my mind off of the pain I was enduring while doing "hill climbs."  Anyways, a fun and creative way to display your desserts is using vintage frames or any type of frames.  What's great about using picture frames is that it might be a bit cheaper then getting an actual dessert platter and you can change the background to anything you want.  There's so many choices out there, the possibilites are endless.

When I got home, I googled the terms, "dessert+frames."  Then I came across this DIY from Ruffled.  It's almost exactly what I was thinking of.

Even a mix and match of nice platters and frames like this.... (but replace the flowers/escort cards with desserts)

I found this on Ohweddings.  I love how this gold frame just puts the icing on the cake for this dessert table display.  Another idea for a gorgeous vintage frame display.
