As the wedding season is about to approach, bridal showers are bound to happen. These next three months are filled with bridal showers galore. It feels a bit overwhelming with the bridal showers and weddings coming up, but I'm excited to see all the creativity my friends can come up with. This past weekend I helped host my cousins bridal shower and got into this mode of making these recipe cards and "marriage advice" note cards. Here are some that I created in photoshop. What do you think?
I've seen this recipe idea come up with two different bridal showers that I've attended to. I thought it was a very useful gift idea or game that you can do. Also, I got the idea of creating those multi-colored utensils from a pinterest picture. You can get wooden utensils and dip them in paint to make it any colors you want for the handles. Another random inspiration was the colors of the utensils. One of my kindergartners were making stripes and I really loved the colors that they were using which happen to be those. =)
This card is more for guests to write notes to the bride. These notes can range anything from marriage advice to a congratulations. I guess you can also use something like this for the wedding for the guest book. Still need to refine those dot borders...it's driving me crazy. Still a big newbie at photoshop, but slowly getting used to it.
