Yes, I am back and ready to blog! Thanks for being patient with me. It was a much needed break and I definitely had a lot of time to reflect upon where I wanted to take this blog. Not only that, but I got a chance to learn some new things about how to be a better blogger and using illustrator. From now on I'll be sharing more about my career switch into the wedding industry/design, creating more stationary printables for any event, displaying DIY projects, and of course sharing inspring pretty things. =)
I just finished doing day of coordinating for my second wedding yesterday! Woohoo! I made it. =) Overall, I had a ton of fun at this wedding. It was a perfect day in sunny California and everyone had a blast. The day went flawlessly and the bride/groom were absolutely stunning.
Above is a picture of one of my favorite DIY projects that she tackled on. It was used as a backdrop to cover the front of the bar. She cut out a whole bunch of streamers and cut every piece (no I'm not joking!) to create that ruffled effect. In addition, she used those Martha Stewart hole punchers to create the gold polka dots and glued it onto the string. Yes it was a lot of work, but it was really cute.
